After discussions on Managed Health Care and the Little League World Series, The United States Senate continued it’s consideration of $12.6 billion dollars in foreign aid for fiscal year 1999. The bill funds the military and economic foreign aid, and aid to international groups such as the World Bank. The bill also funds the Peace Corps, the Agency for International Development and export assistance. After a vote on an amendment, the Senate moved on to debating the conference report on a Texas-Maine, Vermont low level radioactive waste compact.
