Senator Chris Dodd responded to reporters' questions about the Senate impeachment trial. He stated that he believes that calling witnesses would make the trial continue too long when the Senate has other business to do. He also said that the Senate should not overturn the election and remove the president from office without a very good reason. He mentioned that the American people are more concerned with other issues than the impeachment of the president. He also commented on Kosovo and Iraq. close
