The president’s attorney David Kendall, House Managers Representatives Ed Bryant (R-OH), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) presented their cases for and against Article II, obstruction of justice. At the end of Mr. Kendall’s presentation he asked Chief Justice William Rehnquist to play a two minute portion of the videotape of Vernon Jordan making a statement. Senators objected to the video and the video did not play despite a later effort by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) to reintroduce the statement.
