Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee said that closure occurred today and that the Senate vote showed that the House was wrong in impeaching the president. She stated that the American people spoke through their representatives by voting to acquit President Bill Clinton. She mentioned that it is time for the nation to move toward a time of healing and grace. She said that she is proud now to be an American at this time. close
