President and Mrs. Clinton hosted an official dinner for Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi in a pavilion on the South Lawn of the White House. The two leaders humorously toasted each other and pledged the friendship of the two countries. There was no coverage of the dinner after the toasts. The arrival of Prime Minister and Mrs. Obuchi for the dinner was shown, as well the receiving line prior to the official dinner.
