Jane Pauley spoke to the National Press Club on her experiences in television. A political science graduate from Indiana University, Ms. Pauley began her broadcasting career with WISH-TV in Indianapolis. She became the first evening news anchor for WMAQ-TV in Chicago and in 1976 joined the NBC News “Today” show. Miss Pauley talked about her new television show, " Real Life with Jane Pauley ". close
