Participants talked about the improvements in mental health awareness and the need for continued improvements in treatment. They focused on the difficulty that many doctors have diagnosing mental illnesses, and the difficulty of conducting brain research. They also focused on the importance of detection to prevent suicides and to make sure those with mental illnesses are on Medicaid. After their prepared remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
