The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of March 27.

CONSIDERATION OF CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET - Pursuant to the order of the House on Thursday, March, 22, 2001, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union for a period of debate on the subject of the concurrent resolution on the budget for FY 2002. The Speaker appointed Mr. LaTourette to preside over the Committee of the Whole.

Considered as unfinished business.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS - The Committee of the Whole rose, leaving as unfinished business the remainder of the debate allotted on the concurrent resolution establishing the Congressional budget for FY 2001.

Motion to reconsider laid on the table Agreed to without objection.
