Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colorado) commented on the 15th anniversary of the televising of the U.S. Senate. C-SPAN began cablecasting Senate proceedings on June 2, 1986. Senator Campbell thought that having cameras in the Senate were good, as it gave a chance for a lot of Americans from all over the country to watch the proceedings. close
