Mr. Donahue moderated a panel discussion about the state of civil liberties in America following September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Among the topics they addressed were governmental treatment of the Arab-American community, the range of executive authority in pursuing terrorists, law enforcement and treatment of detainees in terrorism cases, and potential judicial reactions to new regulations regarding civil liberties. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
