At the opening of the new Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, King Abdullah II of Jordan proposed ways of resolving the current crisis in the Middle East. Comparing the recent crisis to a train wreck he called for concrete measures leading to final status negotiations, an agreed solution on the question of Palestinian refugees, and measures to ensure mutual recognition and security. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
