Mr. Fleischer talked to reporters about a number of issues including U.S.-Russia relations, Former President Carter’s visit to Cuba, and the use of an official White House photograph in a Republican fundraising letter. He also said that the president had been made aware of suspicions that Osama bin Laden had been suspected of planning an airplane hijacking prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Following brief remarks he answered questions from the reporters. close
