Jim Wooten talked about his book We Are All The Same: A Story of a Boy’s Courage and a Mother’s Love, published by Penguin Press. He also talked about his encounters with a South African boy named Nkosi Johnson who, born with AIDS, fought for AIDS awareness until his death at age twelve. He also addressed the South African government’s lack of an AIDS policy and the steps he thinks need to be made to reverse the negative trend in Africa. After his presentation he responded to questions from members of the audience. He spoke at the Nashville Public Library in Tennessee. close
