British journalist John Cornwell discussed his book Hitler’s Scientists: Science, War and the Devil’s Pact, published by Viking Press. The book examines the role of science in the Nazi regime, focusing on how science affected World War II and how the war affected science. Nazi experiments included studies of poison gas, imposed sterilization, racial cleansing, and cancer research. Mr. Cornwell showed some slides during his presentation and afterwards responded to questions from members of the audience. close
