Mr. Briody talked about his book The Halliburton Agenda: The Politics of Oil and Money, published by John Wiley and Sons. The book takes a critical look at the work of Halliburton and its subsidiary, Kellogg Brown and Root, in Iraq and discusses the questions surrounding the contracts these companies have been awarded over the decades. Mr. Briody also discusses Dick Cheney’s tenure as CEO of Halliburton and the role played by Brown and Root during the Vietnam War. He responded to questions from members of the audience. close
