Mr. Friedman talked about his book America’s Secret War: Inside the Hidden Worldwide Struggle Between the United States and Its Enemies, published by Doubleday. The author, also chairman of the intelligence firm Stratfor, said that America has secret offensives it is conducting against many countries and terrorist organizations that the citizens of America don’t know about. The book covers the war in Afghanistan, Iraq, and has the author’s predictions about America’s future relationships with China, Iran, and Russia. After his presentation the author answered audience members' questions. close
