As part of a project sponsored by C-SPAN Television Networks and Time Warner Cable to encourage dialog between students and national figures, Mr. Bryant addressed students in the 11th and 12th grade legal seminar and advanced placement classes. He talked about growing up in a poor family and learning how to be successful, making the point to the students that they can do anything they want to do. He is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Operation HOPE, a non-profit social investment banking corporation. He also serves on President Bush’s Community Development Advisory Board at the Treasury Department. After his presentation he answered students' questions. close
