Chancellor Brown spoke to reporters and outlined Britain’s international development agenda for the G-8. Aid to Africa and the developing world were the centerpieces of the United Kingdom’s chairmanship of the G-8 this year. The 2005 Summit took place at Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland from July 6-8, 2005. Following his remarks, the Chancellor of the Exchequer responded to question from the reporters. close
