The Democratic National Committee’s Commission on Presidential Nomination Timing and Scheduling, co-chaired by former Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman and U.S. Representative David Price, held its final meeting. The commission voted on its final recommendations about the timing and scheduling of the Democratic presidential nomination calendar.

The proposal included pushing New Hampshire’s primary behind one or two states with more diverse populations. Commission members discussed increasing the number of minority voters and decreasing the pace of the primary calendar by front-loading. close
