Senators Reed and Durbin spoke to reporters following Prime Minister Al-Maliki’s address to a joint meeting of Congress. Among the topics they addressed were his proposals to improve security in Iraq and current military and security operations. They also talked about the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah and the prime minister’s silence on the issue during the address.
