Gregory Rodriguez talked about his book Mongrels, Bastards, Orphans, and Vagabonds: Mexican Immigration and the Future of Race in America, published by Pantheon. In the book he explores the history of Mexican-Americans from the sixteenth century to the present. Mr. Rodriguez argues that the largest immigrant group in American history will impact the political future of the United States and change the way Americans think about race. Mr. Rodriguez responded to questions from the audience following his remarks. close
