Aidan Delgado talked about his book The Sutras of Abu Ghraib: Notes from a Conscientious Objector (Beacon Press; August 15, 2007). In his book he explored his experience as a U.S. solider in Iraq, stationed at Abu Ghraib prison. His Buddhist beliefs contributed to his evolving objections to the war. He talked about his background, why he joined the army, and his experience becoming a conscientious objector.
