Sen. Bentsen, chairman of the Senate Finance committee, spoke to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the high cost of health care to Americans and American business. The previous week, Sen. Bentsen had introduced legislation to ease the burden of health insurance costs to small businesses. Following his prepared remarks, Sen. Bentsen, who was president of a financial holding firm in between his terms as U.S. representative and U.S. senator, responded to questions from the audience. close
