A short video was shown of interviews of family in Moscow on their lives in Russia. The video clips were shot by Brian Lockman, a former C-SPAN employee from his visit to the Soviet Union. Brian Lockman, in an interview with Brian Lamb, explained his footage. This set the stage for three scholars on the Soviet Union who spoke on the conditions there and responded to telephone callers' questions on the current political, economic, and social situation in the Soviet Union. close
