Robert Heller responded to the questions “What Are You Reading?” He mentioned research he had done for his recent book Living On: Portraits of Tennessee Survivors and Liberators. He was reading Rediscovering Jacob Riis: The Reformer, His Journalism, and His Photographs by Bonnie Yochelson and Daniel Czitrom and books about photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

He was interviewed while attending the Southern Festival of Books, held October 10-12, 2008, in Nashville, Tennessee. close
