Curtis Roosevelt, eldest grandson of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, recounts his relationship with his grandfather and grandmother and his time spent with them in the White House and at their home in Hyde Park, New York in Too Close to the Sun: Growing Up in the Shadow of my Grandparents, Franklin and Eleanor (Public Affairs, October 28, 2008). He talked about his book and his grandfather at the Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. Following his remarks, he responded to questions from the audience.
