Maryland Representative Donna Edwards discussed her background and the current political climate in her home state and on Capitol Hill. She talked about her decision to run for Congress, the demographics of her district, energy policy, and President-Elect Barack Obama. Representative Edwards was elected to represented Maryland’s 4th district in a special election on June 17, 2008. Previously, she was executive director of the Arca Foundation, and the co-founder and executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence. close
