For 64 years the Junior League of Richmond has been hosting an annual fund raising “Book and Author Dinner.” In this edited program, four authors described their books for the audience of eighteen hundred people at the Richmond, Virginia, convention center. Bob Deans was the master of ceremonies.

Pam Jenoff is the author of Almost Home: A Novel (Atria; February 3, 2009). David Sanger is the author of The Inheritance: The World Obama Confronts and the Challenges to American Power (Harmony; January 13, 2009). Jean Hanff Korelitz is the author of the novel Admission (Grand Central Publishing; April 13, 2009). Tania James is the author of the novel Atlas of Unknowns (Knopf; April 21, 2009)).
