Allan Roth talked about his book How a Second Grader Beats Wall Street: Golden Rules Any Investor Can Learn (Wiley; March 9, 2009). The author, a financier for 25 years, goes through the process of teaching his elementary school-aged child how to be a wise investor. He notes that a simple and dull strategy that avoids emotional involvement yields better results. He used slides in his presentation, and responded to questions from members of the audience.
