Recently, Google announced their plans to sell e-books, Google Editions, in June or July 2010. BookTV covered the publishing industry panel where the announcement was made and the discussion that ensued about Google’s entrance into the e-book marketplace.ñ The panelists included, Chris Palma, strategic partner development manager, Google Books, Evan Schnittman, vice president of global business development at Oxford University Press, and Richard Curtis, president of the literary agency Richard Curtis Associates. The panel was moderated by Andrew Albanese, features editor at Publishers Weekly and took place at the Random House publishing offices in New York City. close
