In their last news conference of the year, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg tackled several questions on reported political infighting within their coalition government. Vince Cable, the number two Liberal Democrat in the coalition, the previous night admitted to making comments to undercover reporters about behind-the-scenes political disagreements in the coalition. Mr. Cable hinted that he might resign, and said it could bring the government down. Other questions were focused on the conditions in the United Kingdom, public spending cuts, and sanctions against Iran. close
