Ambassador Susan Rice testified about United Nations operations and the U.S. role at the U.N. She outlined the Obama administration’s priorities for reforming the U.N. and its management practices. She also called on Congress to approve the President’s $3.54 billion budget request for the United Nations and other international agencies, as well as peacekeeping efforts in the fiscal year beginning October 1. She also talked about U.S. dues to the United Nations and the potential implications of withholding dues. close
