Jerry Schilling talked about the meeting of Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon in the Oval Office on December 21, 1970, and the events that led up to it. Jerry Schilling became friends with Elvis Presley in 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee. After Mr. Presley achieved stardom, he asked Mr. Schilling to join his team of bodyguards, who often functioned as personal assistants. Jerry Schilling was present in the Oval Office when Mr. Presley met President Nixon.
