This event was part of the Lincoln Legacy Project, a five-year Ford’s Theatre effort dealing with the issues of tolerance, equality, and acceptance. In 2011 the theater showed the Tony-winning musical “Parade” about the historic trial and lynching of Jewish factory manager Leo Frank in 1910s Atlanta, Georgia.
