Three journalists and a former member of the George W. Bush administration talked about the proper balance between the public’s right to know intelligence information and protection of national security. Each of the journalists had broken some of the most high-profile national security stories over the preceding decade. Among the topics they discussed were their decision-making process, relationships with government officials, social media such as Twitter, and the investigation of leaks.
