Donald Faber talked about his book, The Boy Governor: Stevens T. Mason and the Birth of Michigan Politics, in which he discusses Mason’s political history and the impact he had on the state of Michigan. Stevens T. Mason was Michigan’s first Governor and the youngest state governor in American history.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from October 21-25 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. close
