Witnesses testified at a Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on African Affairs hearing about U.S. policy following the abduction of Nigerian schoolgirls by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram. Panelists criticized Nigeria’s government and explained how U.S. was helping. They also said that the abduction was among the top priorities of the U.S. government.
