Panelists talked about the differences between the “Ready for Hillary” super PAC and other super PACs, and some of the ways former Secretary of State Clinton could benefit from “Ready for Hillary” if she were to run for president in 2016. The “Ready for Hillary” super PAC announced in July 2014 that it had collected $2.5 million dollars in a three month period, and had received money from 90,000 supporters since its founding in January 2013.
“Changing the Meaning of a Super PAC: Ready for Hillary” took place at the 2014 Netroots Nation Conference held from July 17-20 in the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. close
