Jon Gnarr talked about his book, Gnarr!: How I Became the Mayor of a Large City in Iceland and Changed the World, in which he discusses the events that led to the economic collapse in Iceland, his plans to reform his country’s economic system, and his efforts to stop the U.S. government and NATO from using his city for their military purposes. Mr. Gnarr was a prankster who became mayor of Reykjavik, Iceland, following the 2008 financial crisis. He spoke about his book at Melville House in Brooklyn, New York. close
