George Washington and Alexander Hamilton re-enactors and others took part in a ceremony commemorating the establishment of the U.S. Coast Guard in August of 1790. The ceremony also included a declaration of U.S. Coast Guard Day, and a performance of “Semper Paratus,” the U.S. Coast Guard marching song. close
