Several Democratic congressional leaders and the next president and vice president of the United States spoke in a news conference following a series of meetings on Capitol Hill. The Democratic members of Congress said the meetings went very well and pledged their support for the next administration. Gov. Clinton said the meetings “exhilarated” him as he looks toward the future of the country. close
