The fifth panel of the first meeting of President Bill Clinton’s Task Force on National Health Care Reform convened at George Washington University in Washington D.C. The task force heard testimony from the heads of physicians organizations on proposals to reform the nation’s health care system. The witnesses testified on the requirements facing such reforms, including coverage for all Americans as well as lower health care costs for citizens and businesses.
