Microsoft CEO Bill Gates spoke to a convention of the computer industry on his vision for the future of information handling, which includes a unified information and communication network that would connect all computers and software with one another. Microsoft Corporation created the popular DOS software operating system, used in computers around the world. Two Microsoft employees also demonstrated software that was a beginning to the innovations described by Mr. Gates. Mr. Wong spoke following Mr. Gates' remarks to announce an alliance between Microsoft and Computer Associates. close
