Cenk Uygur talked about his support of Senator Bernie Sanders' (I-VT) bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, as well as the future of his campaign following a loss in four out of five states on April 26, 2016. He talked about what the Sanders candidacy had meant for the progressive movement. He was critical of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and said he did not think she would be a progressive president despite her campaign rhetoric. Other topics included possible vice presidential candidates.

The program concluded with a video clip of Lieutenant Colonel Jason Fettig, director of the United States Marine Band, being interviewed about performing at the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner. close
