President Trump signed an executive order to establish an accountability and whistleblower protection office at the Veterans Affairs Department. The president called on Congress to give the VA secretary the authority to hold employees accountable for how they treat veterans. In addition, he said huge strides have already been made to improve VA services but much work lies ahead. Vice President Mike Pence and Veterans Affairs Secretary Dr. David Shulkin also delivered remarks. close
