Meg Whitman, CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, spoke to graduates at Carnegie Mellon University’s commencement ceremony in Pittsburgh where she was awarded an honorary degree. She warned about what she called the national trends of attacks against the truth, free speech, and civility and urged students to be the generation that embodies “tolerance, genuine inquiry and authentic open-mindedness.”
