Astrophysicists, aerospace engineers, and space policy experts were among the speakers at the fifth annual conference on human exploration of Mars hosted by Explore Mars, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping spawn a manned mission to Mars in the 2030s. Panelists discussed the challenges to, benefits of, and recent advancements toward a manned Mars mission. Some of them also responded to questions from the audience, most of which were other members of the space exploration and education community. close
