Acting Environmental Protection Agency Administrator (EPA) Andrew Wheeler unveiled President Trump’s plan to combat lead exposure at the the agency' headquarters. He outlined the main goals of the plan, which include reducing children’s exposure to lead sources, identifying lead-exposed children, improving health outcomes, communicating more effectively with stakeholders, and supporting and conducting research related to lead exposure. Other speakers included Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson and Deputy Health and Human Services Secretary Eric Hargan. close
