British Prime Minister Theresa May survived a no-confidence vote in Parliament, one day after a historic defeat on her Brexit plan. Members voted 325-306 at the end of a day-long debate. Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn introduced the motion at the beginning of the debate, urging members to vote the prime minister out of office. In this portion, he laid out his argument for the no-confidence motion, saying the prime minister had lost control of the issue and had left the U.K. “helpless.” The prime minister spoke after Mr. Corbyn’s remarks. close
