Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin held a press briefing at the White House to discuss how his department will regulate the use of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. He talked about the threat of terrorist groups taking advantage of the system, and expressed concerns that Facebook’s Libra could be used by money launderers and terrorist financiers. Later, when asked about President Trump’s recent tweets about minority House freshman lawmakers, the secretary said he did not find the tweets racist. close
